Caravan Booking Terms and Conditions (UK)

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which you (“the Guest”) book accommodation with (“The Retreat Trecco Bay”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Booking and Payment
• A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 is required to secure your booking.
• The balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before your arrival date.
• If the balance is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit.
• Bookings are not confirmed until we have issued written confirmation by email or post.

3. Cancellations by You
• Cancellations must be made in writing (email accepted).
• If you cancel 30 days or more before arrival, you will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the deposit.
• If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival, no refund will be given unless we can re-let the caravan.
• If we re-let the dates, we will refund any payments made (minus the deposit and a £25.00.
• We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

4. Cancellations by Us

In the unlikely event we must cancel your booking (e.g. due to damage, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances), you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the booking — we will not be responsible for additional travel or accommodation costs.

5. Check-in and Check-out
• Check-in: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival
• Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge.

6. Use of the Caravan
• The caravan may only be occupied by the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation.
• No additional overnight guests are permitted without our consent.
• The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the behaviour of all members of the party.
• Please treat the caravan and its contents with care and leave it clean and tidy on departure.
• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the caravan.
• Pets: are not permitted.

7. Damage and Security Deposit
• A refundable security deposit of £100.00 will be required before arrival.
• This will be refunded within 7 days after departure, provided there is no damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required.
• You agree to pay for any damage, breakages, or extra cleaning costs resulting from your stay.

8. Behaviour and Safety
• Please respect other guests and neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, particularly between 10 PM and 8 AM.
• We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if you or your party cause a disturbance, damage property, or act in a manner deemed unsafe or antisocial.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• You must comply with any site rules or health and safety notices.

9. Liability

We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to you, your belongings, or your vehicle while on the premises, except where caused by our negligence.
You are advised to take out personal travel insurance to cover accidents, losses, or cancellations.

10. Force Majeure

We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible so we can resolve the matter promptly.
Complaints made after departure may be harder to investigate but will still be reviewed in good faith.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
