This page is for guests using Caravans2LET to find and book a static caravan holiday. If you’re a caravan owner, please head to our Owner FAQ instead.
Start on the homepage and use the main search bar. You can type a location (town, city, county), a holiday park name, or a specific caravan reference number. As you type, suggestions will appear grouped as caravan references, locations and holiday parks. Pick one of the suggestions or finish your own destination, add dates and guests, then tap search.
You can browse without dates if you’re just getting ideas, but we recommend adding dates. If you choose check-in and check-out dates, we can show live availability and real prices for each caravan. Without dates, you’ll see general listings but not whether those exact dates are free.
Click on the dates field and our calendar will appear. Tap your arrival date, then your departure date – the nights in between are highlighted. If you make a mistake, you can clear the dates and start again. When you’re happy, click “Apply” and the box will show your dates in DD/MM/YYYY - DD/MM/YYYY format. Past dates can’t be selected.
Use the guest selector to choose how many adults, children and pets are travelling. We always keep at least one adult selected for safety. If you add pets, we’ll only show pet-friendly caravans that can accept that number of pets. If you add children, adults-only listings are automatically hidden so you don’t see unsuitable options.
On the results page, open the filters to refine what you see. You can filter by:
You can apply several filters at once and remove them individually, or reset everything to start over.
Yes. Many caravans on Caravans2LET welcome well-behaved pets. If you select at least one pet in your search, we’ll only show pet-friendly listings that can accept that number of pets. You can also browse our pet-friendly collections and then refine by dates and price.
Definitely. Lots of caravans sit on parks with pools, kids’ clubs, play areas and evening entertainment, making them ideal for family breaks. Look for facilities like “Children’s play area” or “Entertainment” in the filters, and check our “great for families” style collections on the site.
“Adults Only” caravans are for guests aged 18+ only – usually couples or adult groups who want a quieter stay. Children aren’t allowed in these caravans. If you’re travelling with kids, stick to the family-friendly listings instead.
Yes. Use the accessibility filters to find caravans with features such as ramp access, wider doorways or adapted bathrooms. Each owner lists what they provide, and you can always message them if you have specific requirements before you book.
Every owner goes through our Owner Verification process, where we check proof of ownership or permission to let the caravan. Verified owners display an “Owner Verified” badge on their listing. Guests can also leave reviews after their stay, helping build a trusted community.
Once you’ve chosen a caravan and selected your dates, click the booking button on the listing. You’ll complete a short form with your details, guest numbers and any special requests. This sends a booking request to the owner. When they approve, you’ll receive a confirmation with payment details and next steps.
Most owners take a deposit to secure your booking and a remaining balance a few weeks before your holiday. Some may ask for the full amount up front, especially for last-minute stays. The payment terms for each caravan are clearly shown before you confirm your booking.
No. As a guest, you don’t pay an extra booking fee to Caravans2LET. You pay the price set by the owner for the caravan (plus any optional extras you agree, such as linen or passes), but we don’t add a guest service fee on top.
Payment methods can vary by owner – many accept bank transfer or card payments. Our integrated payment options are expanding, meaning more bookings will be handled securely through the site, sending money directly to the owner’s chosen payout method. Whatever method you use, make sure it’s traceable, and only pay once your booking is confirmed.
Each owner sets their own cancellation policy. Some are flexible; others may be stricter for peak dates. The rules for that caravan are shown before you book. If you need to cancel, contact the owner as soon as possible – any refund will follow their policy. We always recommend having travel insurance as a backup.
Changes are handled directly with the owner. If you need to move dates, extend your stay or update who’s coming, message them as early as you can. If they can accommodate the change, they’ll confirm what’s possible and agree any price difference with you.
Most caravans include a well-equipped kitchen (fridge, oven or hob, microwave, kettle, basic pots and pans), comfy seating, TV and heating. Bedding arrangements vary – some owners provide duvets and pillows only, others include full bed linen and sometimes towels. Always check the listing information and ask the owner if you’re unsure.
It varies, but a common pattern is check-in from around 3–4pm and check-out by 10–11am. The exact times are confirmed by the owner in your booking details. If you’d like early arrival or late check-out, ask the owner – if their schedule allows, they may be able to help.
Many holiday parks require entertainment or facility passes for access to pools, clubs and evening shows. Some owners include these in your booking; others let you buy them directly from the park. Each listing states whether passes are included or extra so you can budget in advance.
If something isn’t as expected (cleanliness, damage, missing items), contact your owner as soon as possible. Most issues can be resolved quickly if raised at the start of your stay. If you can, take photos so you both have a clear record of any problems.
Your first point of contact should always be the owner, as they manage the caravan day-to-day. However, if there’s a serious issue or you believe something isn’t genuine, you can contact Caravans2LET using the details on our Contact page, and we’ll do our best to help.
